Percussionist, Educator
My journey with music began as a kid banging on pots and pans and grew into a lifelong passion for rhythm. I took my first drum lesson at seven, and by high school, I was immersed in competitive marching band, symphonic and jazz ensembles, and percussion groups—culminating in national-level performances.
At 16, I joined the Blue Knights Independent World Percussion Ensemble, winning gold at WGI Nationals. I spent three summers touring the country with drum corps as a quad section leader, placing in national solo competitions. Over five seasons of winter percussion, I gained not only skill but a deep sense of community and purpose.
Today, I teach drumline, hand drums, drum set, and percussion with a focus on creativity, confidence, and musicianship. My lessons cover technique, theory, improvisation, reading, performance, and ensemble skills. I’ve taught with Rise Percussion, Blue Knights, CU Boulder Buffs, and high school programs, as well as through franchises like Bach to Rock and School of Rock.
In addition to teaching, I’m an active performer and session drummer, collaborating with bands like Bear and the Beasts, Heatherlyn’s Musical Apothecary, Alright Alright, and Denver Jazz Collective. I also facilitate therapeutic drum circles, blending rhythm and mental health work to foster healing through music.

Private Lessons
I offer tailored drum lessons for all skill levels, focusing on technique, musicality, and personal goals. Whether you're starting out or refining advanced skills, I ensure a supportive and engaging learning experience.
Subbing
Available as a reliable substitute drummer, I adapt quickly to new settings and material. With strong sight-reading and versatile skills, I seamlessly integrate into bands or ensembles on short notice.
Session Work
As a session drummer, I bring precision, creativity, and professionalism to recording projects. I collaborate closely with artists and producers to craft drum parts that elevate the music and fit the project’s vision including timbre and percussion soundscapes.
